All-wheel drive, better edge cutting and larger commercial machines stood out in Louisville, but some of my best conversations happened at the simplest booths.

I went to Equip Expo to see robot mowers. I came home impressed by the machines, encouraged by some of the people building them and carrying enough brochures to keep me busy through the offseason.

The show’s indoor exhibits and outdoor demonstrations ran Oct. 21-23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. I spent Friday, the final day, trying to track down every robot mower I could.

Several themes kept coming up, including more capable drive systems, navigation that combines multiple sensors, attachments that do more than cut grass and commercial robots built for much larger properties.

Those trends also featured in our [GaLaBau wrap-up](https://www.vacubots.com/galabau-2026-wrap-up-robot-mowers-push-into-awd-lidar-and-commercial-lawn-care/). Equip gave me a chance to see more of the hardware in person and ask the people behind it some questions.

Some booths were enormous. Others had a few tables, a backdrop and a mower. The size of the display had surprisingly little to do with which visits I enjoyed most.

## TerraMow Was the Booth I Kept Talking About

Friends and family have asked me which booth was my favorite. TerraMow was the easy answer.

I visited both the indoor booth and the outdoor demonstration area, and someone greeted me within seconds at each. Kady and Amy were welcoming, thanked me for stopping by and offered to answer anything I wanted to know. You could hear how proud they were of what their team had built.

I had followed the X AWD before the show, so I knew the specifications. Seeing it operate, even in a controlled demonstration, made a different impression.

Terramow's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

Its Shuttle Drive system lets it mow the next strip in reverse instead of turning around at the end of every row. TerraMow says that helps reduce wear on the turf. The mower also combines all-wheel drive and dual suspension with six-camera navigation and network RTK positioning.

The X AWD uses a 20-inch floating cutting deck. TerraMow lists three model variants for lawns ranging from half an acre to 2.7 acres.

While the demonstration could not tell me how the X AWD would handle every owner’s yard, it left me eager to hear from Kickstarter backers once their machines arrive.

## Lawnova’s X2 Looked Like a Race Car That Learned to Mow

The Lawnova and Atronex team came right over, answered my questions and walked me through the lineup. At a show this size, that kind of attention stood out.

The X2 residential mower looked polished in person. Its low body and broad stance gave it the appearance of a race car that had found a second career cutting grass.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_8212-ghost-16x9.jpg)

Lawnova’s Display at Equip Expo 2026.

The X2 has four-wheel drive and combines lidar, cameras and network RTK positioning for navigation. A dual-disc cutting system provides roughly 20 inches of coverage, while planned collection and trimming attachments would extend its work beyond routine mowing.

Lawnova’s [X2 preview](https://lawnovahome.com/pages/lawnova-x2-pre-launch?ref=vacubots.com) describes the mower as an expandable platform, though final specifications and configurations will matter as it moves toward release.

The Atronex commercial machines beside it had a very different personality. If the X2 was the sports car, the orange and green commercial equipment was the armored truck.

The lineup stretched from smaller residential machines to equipment intended for parks and large commercial grounds. It was an ambitious display, backed by a team willing to explain it.

## Lymow Kept the Booth Simple and Made the Visit Count

Lymow had a green backdrop, white tables and chairs, shipping boxes and two One Plus mowers on the carpet. There were no giant screens competing for my attention.

Humphrey from the team walked me through the mower carefully and clearly. I also met an owner who spoke highly of his machine despite a few minor issues. The team was helping him work through those problems at the show.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_8190-ghost-16x9.jpg)

Lymow's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

That interaction stayed with me. They could have pointed him toward a support email. Instead, they were talking through the issues face to face.

The One Plus uses tracks rather than wheels, with a manufacturer-rated slope capability of 45 degrees, or a 100% grade. It combines RTK positioning with visual mapping and uses two steel rotary blades.

I would have liked a detachable cutting deck so the mower could take on other jobs with different attachments. Lymow also displayed handheld trimming and blowing tools, but those were separate from the mower.

Even with the fixed deck, the One Plus is a machine I would like to try in my own yard.

## Sunseeker Brought the Most Polished Display

Sunseeker’s indoor booth gets my vote for the most polished setup I visited. Nearly the entire mower range seemed to be represented, and staff members were available throughout the display.

The X8 Plus received the spotlight on an orange turntable beneath an “X8 series coming soon” sign.

As detailed in our [Sunseeker preview](https://www.vacubots.com/sunseeker-previews-x8-plus-and-x5-gen-3-robotic-mowers-at-equip-expo/), it combines network RTK positioning, solid-state lidar and stereo vision. Sunseeker rates its all-wheel-drive system for slopes up to 80%, or about 39 degrees.

Sunseeker's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

Its dual-disc cutting system has a total width of 15.4 inches. An infrared camera supports animal detection, while the EdgeZero 2.0 attachment is intended to reduce the strip of grass left along lawn boundaries.

Edge trimming appeared on a lot of new machines, and it was one of the features I most wanted to examine closely.

I’ve used a first-generation Sunseeker X7 in my own yard, where it has been gentle on the grass. Watching the X7 Gen 2 climb the demonstration ramp made me eager to see how the newer models would handle my lawn.

## Roborock Brought the Hill Indoors

Roborock did not have an outdoor demonstration space, so it built a slope inside.

A RockMow X1 LiDAR repeatedly climbed the turf ramp, descended and turned around on the flat section. Roborock rates the X1 series for slopes up to 80%, or about 39 degrees.

Watching the mower come down without sliding told me more than another look at the slope rating on a specification sheet. Its steering front wheels also caught my attention, although a short demonstration cannot establish how gently it will turn on every lawn.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_8307-ghost-16x9.jpg)

Roborock's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

The lidar version combines a 360-degree lidar sensor with two cameras. Roborock also displayed the smaller RockNeo Q1.

The RockAqua P1 pool cleaner was a surprise beyond the mowers. Introduced at IFA in September, it can clean pool floors, walls, the waterline and shallow ledges, according to Roborock.

The booth looked polished, and the expo staff knew the equipment well, answering technical questions from attendees confidently.

## GOKO Turned Its Booth Into a Test Course

GOKO’s indoor and outdoor spaces looked more like miniature backyards than static displays.

Inside, the M6 traveled around a turf course, climbed a ramp marked 42 degrees and crossed pavers beneath an “Active Steering” archway. Outside, rolling turf hills gave the company another place to show the machine.

GOKO rates the four-wheel-drive M6 for 42-degree slopes. It uses four cameras for obstacle avoidance and has a 16.5-inch cutting width.

GOKU's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

It looked good in person, and the demonstrations gave waiting backers something tangible to watch. I would still want to see how it handles an ordinary yard over time before calling the wait worthwhile.

The X5 was much larger than I expected. GOKO presented the tracked, remote-controlled machine as a platform for mowing, snow blowing and towing, with interchangeable attachments.

It looked like a tank, and I left their booth curious to see what other attachments GOKO develops for it.

## Mowrator’s Angled Front Wheels Raised Questions

Mowrator had an autonomous mower with a collection bag and an S1 remote-controlled mower fitted with a snowplow. The team even handed me the plow’s remote.

The autonomous mower’s front omni wheels stayed at a 45-degree angle as it moved. A representative said the arrangement was easier on grass, but that was difficult to judge on concrete.

Mowrator's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

The collection system also caught my attention. The mower tipped the bag upward, then accelerated briefly to help clear the contents. It was an interesting approach, although I would want to see what that movement does to turf.

The machine looked heavy and substantial, with a tubular frame and room for additional equipment.

The team seemed focused on engineering. They enjoyed explaining how their machines worked and appeared to be having a good time doing it.

## Husqvarna Put Its New Models on Pedestals

Husqvarna displayed its Automowers beneath an illuminated ring, with stepped platforms and individual screens giving the area the feel of an auto show.

The white 310V iQ and 440V iQ were the newcomers. They are part of a four-model V iQ range Husqvarna expects to bring to the United States in 2027.

Husqvarna's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

The company had already cleared an important regulatory step. The [FCC’s September approval notice](https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-26-957A1.pdf?ref=vacubots.com) lists conditional approval for the 305V iQ, 310V iQ, 420V iQ and 440V iQ platforms.

The commercial side included the 560 EPOS, the articulated 535 AWD EPOS and the much larger CEORA.

Together, they showed how widely robotic mowing now stretches, from home lawns to sports fields and other large properties.

## Pudu Brought Three Different Commercial Mowers

Pudu Robotics is better known for delivery and commercial cleaning robots, so seeing its complete GT mower lineup together was a treat.

The GT3 combines mowing with collection and sweeping. The GT5 uses a larger rotary cutting system, while the GT7 is a reel mower intended for applications such as golf courses and sports fields.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_8274-ghost-16x9.jpg)

PUDU’s Display at Equip Expo 2026.

Pudu says the machines use lidar, cameras and depth sensing to detect obstacles. Depending on the configuration, they can also dispose of their clippings automatically.

The company also showed off its TOMO S residential robotic mower ahead of its official announcement. Pudu says the mower can automatically sharpen its blades at the charging station.

Read more about the model and planned spring 2027 launch in our [TOMO S Series coverage](https://www.vacubots.com/pudu-announces-tomo-s-robot-mowers-with-self-sharpening-blades-targets-spring-2027/).

The booth team was welcoming and happy to talk through the equipment.

The commercial mowers weren’t running during my visit, but I was able to look them over and ask questions. I would have liked to see them cut.

## Greenworks Gave Robots a Smaller Share of the Spotlight

Greenworks Commercial had substantial indoor and outdoor displays, although much of the space went to handheld equipment, walk-behind mowers and OptimusZ ride-on machines.

The robot I saw operating was the 60-inch AutonomousZ, making laps in the outdoor area. A representative described it as a familiar ride-on mower platform equipped with an autonomy system. It retains manual operation as well.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_7929-ghost-16x9.jpg)

Greenworks' Display at Equip Expo 2026.

Inside, Greenworks displayed four AiMowbot models, including front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions rated for properties of 1 or 2 acres.

A representative described them as commercial machines based on their coverage, though I saw them more as options for homeowners with larger yards. Acreage alone doesn’t make a mower commercial.

The staff was friendly and the display looked great. I just would have liked to see more of the smaller robots in action.

## Kress Had Interesting Hardware but a Quiet Demo Yard

Kress brought equipment I wanted to see, including the new Voyager 60 autonomous zero-turn, the smaller Voyager 40 and its MasterSeries and EyePilot machines.

The Voyagers can be driven manually to map a property. One representative joked that they were made a little uncomfortable to ride because they were supposed to work autonomously, not become the crew’s favorite zero-turn.

Kress' Display at Equip Expo 2026.

I liked the wheel-cleaning brushes on the smaller robots. Grass buildup has been a recurring frustration for me with several brands, so I appreciated seeing a design that addresses it.

The visit itself left me wanting more. The smaller robots were charging when I arrived Friday morning, and although one representative walked me through the commercial mowers’ specifications, no one offered to run a demonstration or let me try a machine.

It was early on the final day, which may explain the quieter atmosphere. Still, with that much equipment and staff on hand, I expected a warmer welcome. A simple greeting goes a long way.

## PANDAG Made Serviceability the Best Part of the Visit

No G1 was operating when I visited either PANDAG’s indoor booth or its outdoor demonstration area. Looking under the lid turned out to be worthwhile anyway.

The control modules were mounted where they could be reached easily. A specialist explained that the layout was intentional. If a module fails, the company can send a replacement instead of asking an owner to ship back an entire commercial mower.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/IMG_7969-ghost-16x9.jpg)

PANDAG’s Display at Equip Expo 2026.

That matters when you would otherwise have to ship back a mower with a 48-inch deck.

The battery also lifts out, making removal for storage more straightforward. PANDAG displayed different tire options for maintained lawns, uneven ground and more demanding terrain.

The spike tire looked like it belonged on a medieval siege engine.

I asked about a residential model, but the team said PANDAG plans to stay focused on commercial mowing. Don’t expect a miniature G1 anytime soon.

## Mammotion and Segway Navimow

The big players were there too.

Mammotion brought both residential and commercial machines to Equip.

The indoor display included the Luba 3 AWD, Luba mini 2 AWD and Yuka mini 2, with a large screen showing a lidar point cloud beside the Luba.

Outside, the demonstration area included a slope ramp, obstacles and signs highlighting DropMow and all-wheel-drive capability.

Mammotion also showed its Fleet dashboard, with multiple Luba and Maston machines listed alongside their battery levels and operating status.

Mammotion's Display at Equip Expo 2026.

Navimow brought more than residential robots to Equip. Its display included the Terranox commercial lineup and a PM1400 technology preview, alongside its wire-free mowers for homeowners.

The Terranox models combine all-wheel drive, network RTK and camera-based navigation, with coverage ratings of 3 or 6 acres and tools for managing multiple machines.

## The FCC Came Up Almost Everywhere

Beyond the hardware, U.S. market access was a recurring subject in my conversations.

Some representatives sounded encouraged by the conditional approval process. Others were frustrated, uncertain or waiting to see how things developed. Several said their companies were continuing to work toward U.S. availability.

Those conversations left me with a sense that most teams were still trying, even when they did not have clear answers about timing.

There were also limits to what one Friday visit could establish.

Dreame and Ecovacs were on the exhibitor list, but their booths were empty when I reached them. I do not know whether they had packed up early or had not exhibited.

I would not draw a broader conclusion from that alone, but it's worth noting.

## What Stayed With Me After Louisville

The machines gave me plenty to think about. Steering systems designed to reduce turf damage, attachments intended to finish the edges and commercial platforms built with maintenance in mind all caught my attention.

The people mattered just as much. TerraMow’s warm welcome, Lymow helping an owner and PANDAG explaining a repair strategy stayed with me because those interactions connected the hardware to what ownership might actually be like.

I came away impressed, with a long list of machines I would like to try on real grass for longer than a trade show demonstration.

I also came home with hats, bags, baseballs, a puzzle and a stack of brochures. TerraMow gets my vote for the best bag. GOKO wins for the most unusual giveaway.

The kitchen table is still recovering.

![Equip Expo giveaways arranged on a wooden table, including Sunseeker, TerraMow and Pudu bags; Mowrator, Mammotion and TerraMow hats; two baseballs; and robot mower brochures.](https://storage.ghost.io/c/69/d5/69d51699-d072-45ac-9ab4-d45efbe74012/content/images/2026/11/857439097_2202591597324834_1350433907513418008_n.jpg)

Hats, bags, baseballs and brochures made the trip home from Equip Expo 2026, alongside plenty of impressions of the mowers and the people behind them.
