# Eufy E15 Gen 2 launches in U.S. with Instant Mowing, Larger Lawn Capacity

Eufy has introduced the E15 Gen 2 robotic lawn mower, updating its camera-based navigation system to let the mower start cutting grass while it maps the yard.

## Start Mowing Without Waiting

The E15 Gen 2 uses an updated version of Eufy’s TrueVision navigation system. Like the original model, it relies on cameras without boundary wires or an RTK reference station.

Eufy says setup takes about five minutes, after which the mower can begin cutting grass while mapping the yard. The original E15 required a separate mapping run that the company says took three to four hours.

## Larger Lawns and Broader Obstacle Recognition

Eufy rates the Gen 2 for lawns up to a quarter-acre, a 25% increase over the original E15.

The updated obstacle avoidance system recognizes more than 500 types of obstacles, according to the company, including pets, toys and yard furniture. Eufy describes the original E15’s obstacle detection as general 3D perception without specifying how many object types it recognizes.

## Cutting Width and Height Stay the Same

Both generations use an 8-inch cutting deck with an adjustable cutting height of 1 to 3 inches.

The listed noise rating remains 56 decibels, while charging takes 90 to 110 minutes on either model. Both carry an IPX6 water resistance rating.

The E15 Gen 2 adds no new edge-trimming capabilities but retains the original model’s Ride-on-Edge cutting. Eufy says grass within about 4 inches of walls may still require manual trimming.

The Eufy E15 Gen 2 is available now in the United States through Eufy’s website for $1,799.99.

The original E15 is still available at $1,399.99.
