Matic’s current support documentation lists Google Home as a supported smart-home integration. Setup begins in Matic’s app rather than by searching for an auto-empty vacuum skill.

These instructions reflect Matic’s published guidance as of Oct. 17, 2026.

## What Do You Need Before Pairing?

Have Matic powered on and connected to Wi-Fi, with the Matic and Google Home apps updated. Keep the phone on the same home network during setup.

Matic’s guidance identifies working IPv6 on the network and robot as important for reliable integration. A pairing that initially succeeds can still lose functionality if the network requirements are not met.

## How Do You Start Pairing?

1. Open the Matic app and select Settings.
2. Under Connectivity, choose Connect to Smart Home App.
3. Select Enter Pairing Mode.
4. Choose Google Home as the smart-home integration.
5. Follow the Google Home prompts to finish pairing.

If the platform asks for a setup code or a compatible controller, follow the requirements shown for that pairing route. Do not substitute a random cloud service because its name resembles Matic.

## How Do You Check the Result?

Find Matic in the intended Google home and inspect its available controls. Test a basic cleaning action and confirm the robot responds before creating a routine.

Naming the device clearly helps distinguish it from other vacuums.

## Can Google Clean a Specific Matic Room?

Check the controls actually exposed by Google Home for your current software. Matic’s support article describes room-area mapping for Home Assistant; those instructions do not establish identical room control in Google Home.

Use the Matic app for a room-specific task when that function is not exposed in Google Home.

## What If Pairing or Control Fails?

Confirm that Matic still responds in its own app. Check the network connection and IPv6 requirements, then try entering pairing mode again.

If basic app control works but Google Home does not, report the smart-home pairing problem to Matic support. Include the stage where it fails rather than factory-resetting a working robot as the first step.
