Matic’s consumables are different from the dock bags and paired mop pads used by many other robots. Check each part on its own rather than replacing everything on the same date.

This guide follows Matic’s current accessory guidance. Actual life depends on use.

## When Should You Change the HEPA Bag?

Follow the app’s full-bag prompt and replace a damaged or unpleasant-smelling bag when needed.

Matic describes about a week of debris capacity with daily vacuuming and mopping as a reference. That is not a guarantee for every home, and a lightly used robot may have a different pattern.

The bag sits inside the robot, not in the dock.

## How Do You Know the Brush Roll Is Worn?

Inspect its wear-line indicator after removing trapped hair. Matic’s guidance says to replace the roll when wear reaches the line.

It describes roughly five months as a typical reference, but the physical indicator and condition matter more than a calendar reminder alone.

## What About the Mop Roll?

Matic gives one to three months as a replacement reference for its self-cleaning mop roll. Follow the app’s worn-roll message and inspect for poor contact or damage.

Cleaning a dirty roll may improve it, but cleaning cannot restore material that has worn away.

## When Does the Side Brush Need Replacing?

Check for fraying or damaged bristles. Matic describes one to two months as typical accessory life, with replacement based on condition.

Use the prescribed attachment method and check that the new brush is secure.

## Does the Vacuum Filter Need the Same Treatment?

Matic’s maintenance guide also lists vacuum-filter care. Follow that component’s specific instructions rather than assuming the HEPA bag and every internal filter are one washable part.

## How Do You Order Parts?

Matic lists Buy Accessories under Support in the app’s Settings area. Match the part to your current hardware version.

After replacement, follow the part-specific instructions to clear a remaining alert. If a new part is still reported as missing or worn, use that error’s troubleshooting guide rather than replacing it again.
