Beijing Roborock Technology Co. reported a significant increase in its third-quarter financial results for 2026, driven by global expansion and a favorable tariff refund.

The company's net profit for the quarter rose 33.01% year-over-year to 479.19 million yuan ($69.92 million), while operating revenue reached 5.61 billion yuan ($818.57 million), a 34.85% increase compared to the same period last year.

Total profit for the quarter also saw a substantial jump, increasing 44.83% to 537.83 million yuan ($78.48 million).

## Margins and Operating Costs

For the first nine months of 2026, Roborock reported a gross profit of approximately 6.61 billion yuan ($964.52 million), calculated from total revenue of 15.7 billion yuan ($2.29 billion) against operating costs of 9.09 billion yuan ($1.33 billion).

Roborock says this reflects the company's ability to scale efficiently, as operating revenue grew 30.10% year-over-year while the company continued to optimize its expense rates.

## Global Expansion Drives Growth

The company attributed its sustained top-line growth to its efforts to deepen its global footprint, which have yielded positive results in both domestic and international markets.

## Tariff Refunds Boost Bottom Line

Additionally, the company's net profit was positively impacted by a tariff refund under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

Roborock's U.S. subsidiary, Roborock Technology Co., received a cumulative tariff refund of approximately $39.88 million (273.29 million yuan) as of September 30, 2026.

## Share Repurchase Program Update

Roborock continued its share repurchase program during the third quarter, buying back 152,509 shares for approximately 17.5 million yuan ($2.55 million).

The company stated these shares are intended to fund employee stock ownership or equity incentive plans, a move often used to retain talent and support the company's long-term value.

## Cash Flow and Inventory Concerns

Despite the strong profit growth, the company reported a negative net cash flow from operating activities of -301.67 million yuan (-$44.02 million), indicating that cash is currently tied up in operations rather than being collected.

Additionally, inventories more than doubled from the end of 2025 to reach 6.26 billion yuan ($913.42 million). Roborock attributes this to strategic stocking, this ties up significant capital and may pose a risk if demand slows.

## About Roborock

Roborock has solidified its position as the world's leading robotic vacuum cleaner manufacturer, holding approximately 15.2% to 19.3% of the global market share.

The company has successfully expanded its footprint beyond its home market of China, with strong sales in Western Europe and North America helping it outpace competitors like Ecovacs and iRobot in global shipments.

Beijing Roborock Technology Co. is publicly traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market under the ticker symbol 688169.
