MOVA V70 Ultra Roller Complete to Launch Aug 19 for $1,099

The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete introduces several upgrades focused on edge cleaning, increased suction, obstacle crossing and dock automation.

The robot uses MOVA’s Dual MaxiReachX system, which allows the mop to extend up to 6.69 inches and the side brush up to 4.72 inches. The system is designed to improve coverage along walls, in corners, beneath furniture and around table and chair legs, with the extensions deploying only when needed.

Suction has been increased to 42,000 Pa, powered by a motor capable of reaching 150,000 rpm. MOVA says the V70 can remove up to 99.9 percent of large debris and hair from hard floors and carpets based on internal testing.

StepMaster 2.0 allows the robot to raise its chassis when crossing obstacles. MOVA says the V70 can clear single thresholds up to 1.77 inches and combined, multilevel thresholds up to 3.54 inches, including door tracks and uneven floor transitions.

The V70 also uses MOVA’s reusable EcoCyclone bagless auto-empty system. The washable dust tank eliminates disposable dust bags, and MOVA says it can provide up to 100 days between emptying, depending on home size, debris levels and cleaning frequency.

Its all-in-one dock washes the mop pads with water heated up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit, dries them with air up to 158 degrees, automatically dispenses cleaning solution and cleans the washboard. MOVA says the hot-air drying cycle takes about one hour.

A 6,400 mAh battery powers the V70, with recharge-and-resume support for larger cleaning jobs. MOVA says the system also charges 30 percent faster than the previous generation.

The MOVA V70 Ultra Roller Complete will retail for $1,299, with a special launch price of $1,099. The model received FCC approval before the agency’s July 28 exclusion-list rule update took effect.
