TORO to Debut Its Haven AM75 Residential Robotic Mower at Equip Expo Next Week
Toro is preparing to enter the residential robotic mower market with the Haven AM75, bringing its lawn care experience and dealer network to a field that includes both traditional mower manufacturers and robot vacuum brands.
The company will display the Haven AM75 at Equip Expo, the outdoor power equipment trade show running Oct. 20-23 in Louisville, Kentucky, ahead of a planned 2027 consumer launch.
Basic Technical Specs, Strong Dealer Support
Toro’s announcement outlines the Haven AM75’s basic navigation and mapping features but leaves key product differentiators undisclosed, making it difficult to assess how the mower compares with models already on the market.
The AM75 combines lidar navigation with camera-based obstacle detection and is designed for properties up to three-quarters of an acre, according to Toro. The company has not specified a maximum slope rating, battery runtime or charging time.
Toro says automatic mapping identifies lawn edges to establish mowing boundaries. Homeowners can also guide the mower around a perimeter through a mobile app and create exclusion zones around gardens and other areas.
Other announced features include crossing driveways and sidewalks to reach separate lawn sections and rain sensors designed to prevent mowing when grass is wet.
These are all familiar capabilities in this product category.
However, what Toro does have is a strong dealer network which could help distinguish the AM75 for homeowners who prefer local maintenance, warranty service and product support.
Price and Availability
The Haven AM75 is scheduled to reach authorized Toro dealers, major retail partners and Toro’s website in Spring 2027. Pricing has not been announced.
Additionally, it's unclear if the mower has already received FCC approval.
