Eufy has introduced the Omni C30 Edge in the United States, expanding its new C30 series with an extendable mop designed to clean closer to walls and baseboards.

The new model follows the recent U.S. launch of the Omni C30, retaining its 35,000 Pa suction, multi-cyclone filtration and improved carpet cleaning while upgrading the mopping system.

MopMaster 3.0 Extends Cleaning to Edges

The biggest difference between the two models is Eufy's MopMaster 3.0 system, which replaces the standard C30's MopMaster 2.0.

The C30 Edge introduces an extendable, pentagonal mop pad that reaches toward walls and baseboards. A side-mounted laser helps guide the mop along edges, with Eufy claiming the system can recognize more than 100 types of baseboards.

The three-layer mop pad is designed to retain moisture during cleaning, while downward pressure reaches 10N to help remove dried-on stains.

The standard C30 also provides edge-hugging mopping, but lacks the Edge model's laser-guided extending mop.

Familiar Suction and Carpet Cleaning

Beyond the upgraded mopping system, the C30 Edge shares much of its hardware with the standard C30.

Both models deliver up to 35,000 Pa of suction and feature Eufy's AeroTurbo multi-cyclone filtration system, which separates dust and fine particles to help maintain suction and reduce filter buildup.

The C30 Edge also retains the single-side anti-tangle floating main brush and multi-step carpet cleaning system.

When carpet is detected, the robot raises its mop pads by 12 mm, increases suction and uses a cross-hatch cleaning pattern to remove embedded dirt and debris.

Navigation is handled by Eufy's iPath 2.0 lidar system, which maps the home and plans cleaning routes. Eufy claims the robot can recognize more than 100 objects during cleaning.

An all-in-one docking station handles dust collection, mop washing, drying and water refilling between cleaning runs.

Price and Availability

The Eufy Omni C30 Edge is available to order in the United States through Eufy's website for an early bird price of $629.99, down from its suggested retail price of $899.99.

Eufy currently lists preorders with estimated shipping before Nov. 1.

The promotion temporarily makes the C30 Edge less expensive than the standard C30's $799.99 suggested retail price, although the standard model has also been offered at a discount.
