Eufy Parent Anker’s Q3 Profit Falls 27% as Investment Losses Offset Revenue Growth
Anker Innovations reported strong Q3 2026 revenue growth driven by global expansion, though investment losses weighed on net profit. Read the full financial breakdown.
Anker Innovations, the parent company of smart home brand Eufy, reported a mixed third quarter for 2026, with strong revenue growth offset by a decline in net profit due to investment losses.
The company's net profit for the quarter fell 27.04% year-over-year to 558.79 million yuan ($81.54 million), despite operating revenue reaching 9.54 billion yuan ($1.39 billion), a 16.96% increase compared to the same period last year.
However, core profitability remained strong. The company's non-GAAP net profit (excluding non-recurring items) surged 61.23% to 840.43 million yuan ($122.64 million).
Tariff Relief Aids Cost Structure
For the first nine months of 2026, Anker reported a gross profit of approximately 12.66 billion yuan ($1.85 billion), calculated from total revenue of 26.14 billion yuan ($3.81 billion) against operating costs of 13.48 billion yuan ($1.97 billion). The company noted that its operating costs were positively impacted by a refund of previously paid IEEPA tariffs.
International Markets Drive Top-Line Success
The company attributed its sustained top-line growth to its efforts to deepen its global footprint, particularly in offline channels where revenue grew 32.28%. International markets continue to dominate, accounting for nearly 95% of total revenue.
Investment Volatility Masks Core Strength
The decline in overall net profit was primarily driven by a non-operating loss of 353.71 million yuan ($51.61 million) related to a drop in the fair value of its publicly traded external investments.
Strategic Stocking Ahead of Peak Season
Unlike its competitors, Anker reported a positive net cash flow from operating activities of 377.75 million yuan ($55.12 million) for the first nine months of the year, a significant improvement from the previous year. However, inventories increased by nearly 68% to 8.39 billion yuan ($1.22 billion), which the company attributed to strategic stocking ahead of the peak sales season and rising raw material costs.
Eufy's Role in the Smart Home Ecosystem
Through its Eufy brand, Anker has become a significant player in the global smart home and robotic vacuum market.
While trailing behind leaders like Roborock and Ecovacs, Eufy is recognized as a top-tier brand, particularly in North America and Europe, where it competes effectively in the mid-to-high-end segment with a focus on local AI integration and data privacy.
Anker Innovations is publicly traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext board under the ticker symbol 300866.
