My Z60 Pro Tip: Brushes Are Removable!

A small detail that made a big difference when I wanted to reach trapped hair in the Z60's main brush assembly.

This may be basic to some owners, but it was a big discovery for me: The two rollers in the MOVA Z60’s main brush can come off their spindles.

I hadn’t realized that at first. Seeing the parts separated made it much easier to understand how to reach the hair and debris around them.

How Do You Take the Brushes Off?

Pop open the brush guard clips, lift out the main brush carriage and pull each brush off its spindle. Give them a solid pull. That’s what I did on my Z60.

That’s the little detail I wanted to pass along. Sometimes it’s the part of a maintenance job you didn’t know about that makes the biggest difference.

Check Your Model Before You Try It

Match your robot to the instructions in its manual before pulling anything apart. Confirm which parts are intended to separate and how they go back together.

The same goes for washing: Follow the cleaning and drying guidance for the exact part, rather than assuming everything in a removable assembly can go under the tap.

Before It Goes Back In

Check the roller ends and spindles for trapped hair, then refit the parts in the orientation shown in your model’s instructions. Make sure the rollers and guard are secure before the next run.

I hope this helps another owner who’s had the same “I didn’t know it did that” moment.
