Robot Mower Makers Head to Germany for GaLaBau 2026

Robot mower manufacturers are heading to Nuremberg, Germany, this week for GaLaBau 2026, a major European trade show for landscaping and grounds maintenance.

Segway Navimow, Ecovacs, Mammotion, Anthbot, TerraMow, NexLawn and Pudu Robotics are among the companies set to exhibit, following a wave of new mower hardware introduced at IFA in Berlin just last week.

GaLaBau runs Sept. 15-18 and is expected to draw about 1,100 exhibitors. For robot mower manufacturers, the show puts a stronger spotlight on lawn robotics than the broader consumer electronics-focused IFA.

Segway Navimow

Segway Navimow is exhibiting after introducing the H5 Pro at IFA. The mower adds all-wheel drive and an extendable EdgeMaestro cutting arm that moves the main cutting disc beyond the mower body for closer edge cutting. It is scheduled for early 2027.

Ecovacs

Ecovacs is expected to bring its next-generation Goat T Series after previewing it in Berlin. The lineup adds all-wheel drive, a more integrated TruEdge trimming system and a new station that can wash the mower after use.

Mammotion

Mammotion is bringing the Luba 4 AWD after showing it at IFA. The new generation replaces the front omni wheels with independently steered wheels and adds four-camera navigation, lidar and optional edge trimming on select models.

NexLawn

NexLawn is expected to show both residential and commercial mowers, including the Navia Pro AWD with an extending side cutting system, the smaller Vayor 600 and Vidar 1200 and 2000 AWD, and the commercial Aurion platform.

Pudu Robotics

Pudu Robotics will use GaLaBau for the first in-person showing of its GT Series commercial mowers. The GT3, GT5 and GT7 are designed for commercial grounds maintenance rather than residential lawns.

TerraMow

TerraMow is scheduled to show the X AWD and Mini 500. The X AWD targets larger and more difficult lawns, while the Mini 500 is designed for properties up to 500 square meters.

Anthbot

Anthbot is expected to bring its R7 Series after showing it at IFA. The mower combines six-motor all-wheel drive, dual lidar navigation and a retractable EdgeEase trimming arm for closer edge cutting.

What to Watch at GaLaBau

IFA showed two clear trends in robot mowing this year, with more all-wheel-drive systems and a stronger push toward better edge cutting.

Manufacturers took several different approaches, including extending cutting discs, dedicated edge-cutting blades and systems designed to let the mower safely cross flush boundaries so it can cut closer to
