How to Clean Your Dreame Robot Vacuum and Dock

A simple care routine for the brushes, filter, mop and station that keep your robot cleaning.

Dreame’s automated stations can handle washing, drying and dust collection, but brushes, filters and the washing area still need regular inspection.

These instructions focus on current Dreame robot vacuums, including the 2026 X60 series. Regional models and app options can differ.

What Should You Do Before Maintenance?

Stop the cleaning task, turn off the robot and disconnect the dock from power before working on removable parts. Let hot washing or drying components cool.

Check your Dreame’s brush and mop diagrams before removing anything. The X60 family uses mop pads; a Dreame model with a roller requires different access and wastewater checks.

How Do You Clean the Dry-Cleaning Parts?

  1. Open the brush cover using the release shown in the manual.
  2. Lift out the main brush or brushes and remove trapped hair.
  3. Inspect the brush ends, side brush and wheels for debris.
  4. Empty the robot’s dustbin and check its accessible openings.
  5. Reinstall each part and secure the brush cover.

Clean the filter only as its manual allows. The X60 support guide describes rinsing the dustbin filter and letting it air-dry for 24 hours before reinstalling it.

How Do You Clean the Sensors and Contacts?

Remove dust from exposed sensors and charging contacts with a soft, dry cloth. Find their positions in your robot’s diagram rather than wiping only the top navigation window.

Keep water and cleaning sprays away from electrical contacts. Do not rinse the assembled robot.

What Needs Attention at the Dock?

Inspect the station’s washing area, removable tray or filter, and water tanks. If your station has separate solution compartments, use the correct product in each compartment rather than mixing them.

For a removable dirty-water tank, empty the contents and rinse as the manual directs. Clean only dock components approved for removal and washing. A self-cleaning station still needs its collected waste removed.

How Often Should You Check Everything?

As a starting household routine, inspect for hair and debris weekly and check dirty water after mopping. Use the manufacturer’s schedule for detailed care, checking more often when pets or heavy use create buildup.

Finish by checking for missing parts, loose lids or damp filters before restoring power and starting another task.
