Xiaomi Launches Robot Vacuum 6 and 6 Max in Germany With Roller Mopping
Xiaomi’s Robot Vacuum 6 Max adds an extending corner mop and mechanical legs rated to climb steps up to 6 centimeters. It joins the lower-priced Robot Vacuum 6 in Germany, with both models featuring roller mopping and self-cleaning docks.
Xiaomi has launched the Robot Vacuum 6 and Robot Vacuum 6 Max in Germany, bringing roller mopping, extending cleaning components and automated maintenance docks to two models priced at 649.99 euros and 999.99 euros, respectively.
The Max adds a separate extending corner mop, three-camera recognition and a higher claimed threshold-climbing capability.
Robot Vacuum 6 Max Adds Extending Corner Mop
The Robot Vacuum 6 Max combines an extending side brush and roller with an additional extending mop pad designed to clean around curved furniture legs and into corners.
Its roller receives fresh water through 16 outlets while a scraper removes dirty water during cleaning. Xiaomi lists suction at up to 35,000 pascals and includes a main brush with blades designed to cut tangled hair.

The company says two mechanical legs allow the Max to climb individual vertical steps up to 6 centimeters, or about 2.4 inches, under its test conditions. A retractable lidar sensor lets it enter spaces with clearance as low as 9.3 centimeters, or about 3.7 inches.
The three-camera system supports obstacle and mess recognition. Xiaomi says the robot can adjust its cleaning approach for different debris and avoid mixed solid-and-liquid messes to reduce smearing.
Its Omni station automatically empties the dustbin, washes the mop with water heated up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit and dries it with warm air.
Robot Vacuum 6 Offers a Lower-Priced Roller Option
The Robot Vacuum 6 has claimed suction of up to 30,000 pascals, an extending roller and side brush, and camera-based obstacle recognition.
Xiaomi says its roller turns at up to 220 revolutions per minute while receiving fresh water. An integrated scraper removes dirty water as it cleans.
The standard model has a 9-centimeter-tall body, or about 3.5 inches, and mechanical feet that Xiaomi says can negotiate vertical obstacles up to 4 centimeters, or about 1.6 inches. Its dock automatically empties the dustbin, washes the roller with water heated up to 176 degrees and dries it with hot air.
Both models support scheduling, cleaning settings and restricted zones through the Xiaomi Home app, along with compatible Alexa and Google Assistant devices. AI recognition is disabled by default and must be enabled in the app.
The Robot Vacuum 6 Max is also available through Xiaomi’s official stores in France and Spain, priced at 999.99 euros, and in Singapore, priced at 1,399 Singapore dollars.
