Anker Eufy S2 Max Mower Arrives With AWD, 3.7-Acre Cover
Anker’s new Eufy S2 Max robot mower is built for lawns larger than 3 acres, combining four-wheel drive, TrueVision camera navigation and 360-degree obstacle detection without a separate RTK station.
Anker has unveiled the Eufy Robot Lawn Mower S2 Max at IFA 2026, introducing an all-wheel-drive mower for properties up to 3.7 acres that does not require boundary wires or an RTK base station.
The S2 Max can handle slopes up to 80%, or 38 degrees, and mow up to about 1.24 acres per day. It also uses an extending cutting arm for edge mowing and a dual-blade cutting deck.
Anker says the S2 Max is its first robotic mower developed entirely in-house.
The mower is scheduled to launch in Europe in May 2027 for €3,999. A U.S. launch has not been announced.
No Boundary Wire or RTK Base Station
The S2 Max does not require a perimeter wire, satellite positioning or a separate RTK base station.
Anker says the mower uses a camera-based TrueVision navigation system that creates a 3D map of its surroundings and provides 360-degree obstacle detection. It also uses up to 48 TOPS of local AI processing for navigation and obstacle recognition.
Extending Cutting Arm Reaches Lawn Edges
The S2 Max uses an automatic extending cutting arm that reaches beyond the mower’s main body near lawn boundaries, helping cut closer to walls and other edges.

Unlike add-on trimming systems, the S2 Max integrates the extending arm directly into the mower.
Built for Larger Properties
The S2 Max is positioned well above Eufy’s current E15 and E18 models in supported lawn size and terrain capability.
Anker has not yet released full specifications for the S2 Max, including its cutting width, cutting-height range, battery capacity, runtime, charging time and sensor array details.
