Ecovacs IFA 2026 Highlights: GOAT Mowers, Winbot and Pool Robots

Ecovacs used IFA 2026 to show off more than new robot vacuums, with fresh robotics for lawns, pools, windows and even companionship.

Ecovacs brought its share of new robot vacuums to IFA 2026, but some of the more interesting technology at its booth is designed for lawns, pools, windows and even companionship.

The company is using the Berlin show to display its broader home robotics lineup alongside the new Deebot X12S, T90S and T90 Max models. That includes a preview of a new GOAT T Series robotic mower, the upcoming Ultramarine L1 pool robot, several Winbot window cleaners and Lil Milo, Ecovacs’ small robotic pet companion.

Ecovacs is exhibiting in Hall 9, Booth 113 at Messe Berlin through Sept. 8.

GOAT T Series Adds All-Wheel Drive, Integrated Edge Trimmer

One of the more interesting products at the Ecovacs booth is the new GOAT T Series, which the company is previewing ahead of a planned 2027 launch.

The biggest change is an all-wheel-drive platform. The T Series uses four driven wheels, a major departure from Ecovacs' current GOAT A2000 and A3000 LiDAR Pro mowers and a change that should give the new mower more traction on uneven and difficult terrain.

The T Series also introduces a redesigned TruEdge Trimmer. On the current A2000 and A3000 LiDAR Pro, the trimmer is a separate module included with the mower that users install on the side of the machine.

The T Series shown at IFA appears to integrate that hardware more directly into the mower. Its edge-cutting unit is mounted on a movable side support that extends beyond the body and can move to cover more area along lawn borders.

That could allow the mower to reach grass along walls, fences and other boundaries without relying on the bolt-on trimmer arrangement used by the current A Series.

Ecovacs is also carrying over its HoloScope 360 dual-lidar navigation system. That technology is already available on the A2000 and A3000 LiDAR Pro and combines a rotating 360-degree lidar sensor with 3D time-of-flight lidar for mapping and navigation without a perimeter wire or separate RTK reference station.

Taken together, the T Series is a substantial next-generation upgrade for the GOAT platform.

Ecovacs has not announced individual T Series models, pricing, detailed specifications or U.S. availability. The company says the lineup is planned for 2027.

Automatic Blade Cleaning for GOAT Mowers Demoed

There is another mower-related display at the Ecovacs booth that deserves attention.

Show-floor footage posted by SmartHomeFox appears to show a GOAT charging station with a built-in high-pressure washing system.

While the system is only a technology demonstration on the IFA show floor, mower maintenance remains an area that could use improvement.

Cleaning grass clippings and debris from the blades and underside can be a time-consuming part of owning a robotic mower. A charging station capable of automatically keeping those areas clean could significantly reduce that maintenance burden.

We are encouraged to see Ecovacs exploring ways to reduce one of the less glamorous parts of robotic mower ownership and look forward to seeing whether this technology eventually makes its way into a shipping product.

Ultramarine L1 Brings 3D Lidar Mapping to Pool Cleaning

Ecovacs is using IFA 2026 to show the Ultramarine L1, a new robotic pool cleaner that adds more advanced mapping and navigation to the company's growing pool-care lineup.

The biggest change is an underwater 3D mapping system built around lidar sensors. The L1 is designed to detect the shape of a pool and use that information to plan its cleaning route rather than relying primarily on movement tracking and predetermined cleaning patterns.

Ecovacs is also using AI to identify areas where dirt and debris have accumulated, allowing the robot to concentrate more of its cleaning effort in those sections of the pool.

That would be a significant step beyond the Ultramarine P1 currently sold in the United States. The P1 uses an IMU-based SmartNavi system to track its position and optimize cleaning routes. It does not use lidar to build a 3D map of the pool.

Ecovacs has not released a full specification sheet for the L1, so details including runtime, suction performance, filtration and exactly how its underwater lidar system operates remain unclear.

The company also previewed additional Ultramarine models, including the L1 Pro and P3, suggesting the L1 is part of a broader expansion of Ecovacs' pool-cleaning lineup rather than a one-off concept.

Pricing, release timing and U.S. availability for the L1 have not been announced.

Ecovacs Expands Winbot Lineup With W2S Pro Omni

Ecovacs brought its latest window-cleaning robots to IFA, including the new Winbot W2S Pro Omni and the already available Winbot W3 Omni.

The Winbot W2S Pro Omni made its global debut in Berlin with TruEdge 2.0 edge cleaning, a three-nozzle water spray system and Win-SLAM 4.0 navigation.

The robot can operate from its battery-equipped Omni station rather than requiring a nearby wall outlet during cleaning. Ecovacs says it can clean up to 807 square feet on a water fill.

The company also announced a standard W2S Pro without the Omni station. European sales begin Sept. 9.

The booth also gives Ecovacs another opportunity to demonstrate the Winbot W3 Omni, which is already available in the United States.

Its standout feature is the Vortex Wash station, which automatically cleans the robot’s wiping pad after use. Inside the station, 16 high-pressure nozzles spray the pad while four rotating scrubbers clean it. Ecovacs says the process takes about one minute.

The W3 Omni also uses Win-SLAM 5.0 navigation and TruEdge technology designed to clean close to window edges.

It currently sells for $699.99 in the United States.

LilMilo Brings an Emotional AI Pet Companion to the Ecovacs Booth

Ecovacs is also showing LilMilo, a robotic pet companion that looks more like a small dog than a cleaning robot.

The robot uses cameras, microphones, touch sensors and more than 40 onboard sensors to respond to voice, movement and touch, while a built-in large language model gives it long-term memory and what Ecovacs describes as an evolving personality.

Show-floor footage posted by SmartHomeAssistant suggests LilMilo may be offered in multiple colors in the future.

LilMilo can operate offline, runs for up to six hours and maintains a body temperature of about 100 degrees Fahrenheit to make interactions feel more lifelike.

The white version is available now in the United States for $599, down from a listed price of $799.

Ecovacs Is Showing a Much Bigger Robotics Portfolio

The bigger takeaway from the Ecovacs booth may be how far the company is pushing beyond robot vacuums.

Ecovacs says it can reuse roughly 80% of its core robotics technology across different product categories, adapting only the remaining technology to the needs of each environment.

That means many of the same underlying systems for navigation, sensing, motion control, cleaning and power management can move from one type of robot to another.

At IFA, that strategy is becoming much easier to see.

The GOAT T Series, Ultramarine L1 Pro and Lil Milo may look like very different products, but Ecovacs increasingly sees them as variations on the same robotics platform.

If that strategy holds, Ecovacs may be building toward something bigger than a collection of separate product lines, with a shared robotics platform that can be adapted quickly for entirely new categories.
