Roborock IFA 2026 Highlights: First Pool Robot, New Lidar Mower and the Saros Rover Returns
Roborock’s IFA 2026 booth puts the spotlight on its first pool robot, a new entry-level lidar mower, an upgraded F25 floor cleaner and another live Saros Rover stair-climbing demo.
While much of Roborock's IFA 2026 booth focused on current products and the upcoming Saros 20 Flow, the company also showed its growing outdoor lineup, including its first robotic pool cleaner and a new lidar mower.
The RockAqua P1 marks Roborock's entry into robotic pool cleaning, while the RockNeo Q2 adds lidar navigation and built-in edge trimming to the company's more affordable mower lineup.
RockAqua P1 Brings Camera Navigation and Shallow-Water Cleaning
The RockAqua P1 is a cordless pool-cleaning robot designed to clean floors, walls, waterlines and shallow sections of a pool.

Roborock rates the P1 for operation in water as shallow as 5.9 inches, allowing it to move onto tanning ledges and other shallow platforms.
Robroock says it can run for up to 3.5 hours and takes about 3.5 hours to recharge.
A front camera helps the robot map irregular pool shapes, avoid obstacles such as drain covers and identify areas with visible debris. The P1 can prioritize dirtier sections rather than treating every part of the pool equally.
Water flow is rated at 6,800 gallons per hour. Debris passes through 180-micron and 70-micron filters before collecting in a 4-liter basket.

When cleaning is complete or the battery falls below 15%, the P1 returns to the waterline. A water-release system drains the robot before it is lifted from the pool.
RockNeo Q2 Adds Lidar and Built-In Edge Cutting
The RockNeo Q2 is the successor to the RockNeo Q1, which is already available in the United States starting at $1,299.
The biggest change is navigation.
The Q1 relies on network RTK and visual positioning and includes an RTK reference station. The Q2 replaces that setup with a 360-degree lidar sensor combined with dual cameras, allowing it to determine its position without a separate RTK antenna.
Obstacle avoidance has also changed. The Q1 uses stereo vision, while the Q2 adds an RGB camera and Roborock's newer camera-and-lidar obstacle detection system.
The bigger upgrade is edge cutting. The Q2 has a built-in side-mounted auxiliary cutting blade and can cut within a claimed 1.2 inches of a boundary. The Q1 needed the separately sold PreciEdge module to achieve the same distance.
The Q2 retains the Q1's claimed ability to handle slopes up to 45% and vertical obstacles up to about 1.6 inches. Its compact body can also pass through gaps as narrow as about 2 feet.
F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 Gets More Steam, Suction and Runtime
Roborock is also demoing the next-generation F25 Ultra Steam wet-dry vacuum, with a substantial increase in steam output.
The current F25 Ultra produces 2,000 milligrams of steam per minute. The Gen 2 raises that to 5,000 milligrams per minute, a two-and-a-half-fold increase. Both models heat steam internally to 356 degrees Fahrenheit. Suction also increases from 22,000 Pa to 25,000 Pa.
Runtime gets a boost, too. The current model runs for up to 60 minutes in Auto mode, while the Gen 2 is rated for up to 100 minutes in its lower-power configuration or up to 30 minutes when using steam. Roborock also claims up to 8,400 square feet of cleaning on a charge.

Edge cleaning is another notable change. The current F25 Ultra can clean within less than 0.04 inch of an edge. The Gen 2 adds a small movable arm that extends roller coverage along the front and both sides, allowing Roborock to claim zero-gap cleaning along three edges under its test conditions.
The arm can also lift when the cleaner is pushed forward, helping prevent dirty water or debris from being pushed ahead of the cleaning head.
Hot-water self-washing increases from 194 degrees to 203 degrees. Steam self-washing remains at 356 degrees, and the five-minute drying cycle at 203 degrees carries over from the current model.
Saros Rover Returns, But Still Has No Release Date
The Saros Rover made its return to Roborock's booth for another tech demo of its wheel-leg design, which allows the robot to climb stairs while cleaning individual steps.
Each wheel is mounted to an independently controlled leg that can extend and retract as the robot encounters stairs, slopes and other changes in floor height.

Unlike systems that carry a separate robot vacuum between floors, the Rover is designed to handle both the climbing and cleaning itself.
Roborock first showed the Rover at CES 2026. Eight months later, it remains in development, with no announced price or launch date.
Pricing and Availability
The RockAqua P1 and RockNeo Q2 are listed on Roborock's U.S. website, but pricing and availability have not been announced for either model.
U.S. pricing and availability for the F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 also remain unconfirmed.
